Examples of projects completed for our customers:

Base of an isocentric table – Improvement of the original design parameters within a clearly defined budget, including prototype manufacturing and performance verification. The design considered available modern production technologies so the customer could subcontract part production to various suppliers.

Machining center calculation and design – We developed a new multifunctional turning center. We carried out calculations from FEM/FEA all the way to individual drive designs, force calculations, load cases, etc. We also led the design of the machine bed and adjacent assemblies in various length variants, steadies, tailstock, and counter-spindle. We prepared design studies, proposals, and alternatives for several machine components. We also proposed manufacturing and assembly technologies.

Log-handling ramp bucket – The company MANATECH commissioned us to develop a ramp bucket used for handling tree logs. We delivered complete product documentation for what has become one of the company’s most successful proprietary products.

Material handling in vacuum chambers – For a U.S.-based customer, Brooks, in cooperation with the Czech Technical University (ČVUT), we developed a mechanism synthesis for material handling in vacuum chambers. The result was a proposal of several manipulator variants. We also designed gear profiles for belt drives and tested them with regard to precision and durability.
